Ornex Oil production and maintenance activities are carried out to meet strict safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Production phase aims to the recovery of the reservoir fluids to surface followed by their processing.

Ornex Oil’s professionals ensure the control of production and injection to meet up approved plans for volumes and quality of products. We also ensure the monitoring and recording of all data to manage the reservoir, wells and facilities.

The production phase normally begins with the first commercial volumes of hydrocarbons (“first oil”) flowing through the wellhead – this establishes a fundamental turning point from a cash flow stand point.

Liquid hydrocarbons represent approximately 80% of our overall production volumes. Ornex Oil accounts for approximately 2% of global oil production.

We produce gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, heating oil, Bunker Fuel Oil D6, and asphalt for roads and lesser known products such as lubricants, synthetic rubber, plastics, and fertilizers.

Ornex Oil consists of 14 production structural divisions, four of which are oil and gas production departments, oil treatment and production services department, as well as auxiliary departments that perform various services.

The Company is currently implementing a Production Modernization Program. Within the framework of the Program, a Workshop for Diagnostics and Repair of Underground Equipment (TsDRPO) was built and put into operation, the capacity of which allows repairing 500,000 tubing, 200,000 sucker rods, 11,000 deep pumps annually. It should be noted that this workshop has no analogues not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the CIS countries.
